Bearing fruit is not that hard to do. All you need is some good soil, water, and sunshine. Chances are you are going to bear fruit. Unfortunately, that’s not the kind of fruit Jesus wants us to bring forth.

Spiritual fruit is a little bit harder to bear than this. In this passage we are appointed to “go and bear fruit”. We as Christians are called to show the world who we are, and who we belong to. Jesus wants us to stand out and not be afraid to speak for Him. We live in a world that needs to hear what Jesus says, and how He can change their lives. The only way they can know is if we take on Jesus’ challenge to go and bear fruit. We need to show people by our lives what being a Christian is all about.

There is no better day than today to accept the challenge from Jesus and go and bear fruit.
