Day 241

Beautiful Feet

Read Isaiah 52:7-10

This verse has a lot of hidden meaning more specifically in the section that tells us the feet of those “...who proclaim salvation...” are beautiful.

Isaiah lets something special be heard in this verse, something you may not know, the Hebrew word for salvation, or yeshua, or in other words, Jesus. So basically how beautiful the feet of those who announces Jesus! Isaiah tells us that God blesses those who proclaim good news, peace, tidings of good things, salvation and who say to Zion “Your God reigns!” What is our good news? Our peace? Or anything else we’re told to spread. Our good news is the life of Christ, and in what manner Christ works in our lives.

Because when Christ is in our lives we find peace. We find good things. And above all else through the grace of God we are given salvation. The most important thing we have ever been told by God is to go and share that news. Go and tell the world how God has been active in our lives. Did I say the most important? So above worship? Or baptism? You better believe it. Because as long as I don’t share the Word of God my baptism does nothing for me and my worship is empty. See faith, you know what we base our lives off of, is dead without work.

D-E-A-D. Not breathing, inactive, soulless... Pointless.

So how beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim Jesus. Beautiful enough to access grace, mercy, love, joy, kindness and any other blessing God has in His arsenal to pass our way. When we do the will of God we are purified through the blood of Christ to look unblemished in the sight of the most high God. In essence... Beautiful.
