A grand week for KCoC at CBC (Week 1): Two big, proud moments occurred. Both were the buttons-poppin'-of-the-shirt kind mixed with jubulation and some teary-eyed faces. We know God is smiling in both cases and the angels are rejoicing in one for sure and, most likely, also the other. First, we have a
new brother in Christ: Bryson Gray! He was baptized on Friday, June 18th. Bryson is the son of Mark and Shannon Gray and the grandson of Margo Kennerly. Secondly, the
male CBC Junior Camper Award – not the CR Frank Award as was inaccurately reported in the last update – went to Dalton Lankford, the son of Chris and Susan Lankford. Way to go young men! Please give these young men a big, big hug.
*************** TEACHERS!! TEACHERS!! TEACHERS!! ******************

The elders have put together the
KCoC Communication Information Worksheet. This document is designed to provide family members with the various types and kinds of communication avenues that are established here at KCoC. Specifically, this document identifies how and what YOU need to do to communicate your information to the proper people so it will be placed in the proper communciation avenue(s) that you desire and that is/are best for the information itself. Click
Here to view this Communication Information Worksheet which is a
.pdf file.
*****IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS WORKSHEET*****
* The
kcoc@carolina.rr.com e-mail address is the best way to get the information out there. The minister get's this as a message on his phone, so it is as good as calling him.
* The
kcoc@carolina.rr.com e-mail address goes to all of the elders as well as all of those who work the different areas of communication on the sheet.
* When sending an e-mail, please let us know where you would like to have the information communicated
* If you have text messaging on their phone, a text message can be sent to that address as well.

ELDERS NOTE: "The elders have asked that food and drink is restricted to the fellowship area and conference room area. This will allow all of us to be good stewards of God’s blessings and protect the furnishings, equipment, and materials throughout the building. This will also allow us to worship God in spirit and devotion when we are assembled to do so in the auditorium. We understand that it may be necessary to exclude medical and health needs, and the physical needs of infants and toddlers. We ask that you use them with care.
Thank you
The elders"
***********************************
ELDERS are in the process of making our children’s Bible classes more effective. They are reorganizing our children’s classes by two grade levels. Currently, some of them have three grade levels. The Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool-Kindergarten classes are unchanged. The new classes will be: Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, Grades 9-12. This is for both Sunday morning and Wednesday night. So, they will need some more teachers to work with the following classes:
· Grades 9-12 (Wednesday),
· 1st-2nd Grades (Sunday),
· 3rd-4th Grades (Sunday),
· 3rd-4th Grades (Wednesday),
· 5th-6th Grades (Wednesday),
· 7th-8th Grades (Sunday).
If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Mike Mobley. Otherwise, he may be seeking out you! Classes will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. So, to get your first choice…..
Work with them and be a part of a great and meaningful work.

NOTE FROM MIKE MOBLEY: In the foyer you will find a two-sided sheet with the heading "Kannapolis Church of Christ Communication Information". This identifies all the ways we currently have set up to mass communicate information to the congregation, who is oversees each one, what their functions are, and how to get your information to them. Regarding the e-mail address
kcoc@carolina.rr.com, this address gets the message you want to communicate directly to Kirk's cell phone, the elders by email, and to all those who oversee the various methods of communication we currently have in place (as identified in the information sheet). So, when you send a message to this address, be sure indicate the specific place you want it to go, or to all sources. You may send your message by e-mail or text message to this address.
Thank you
Mike

Need pictures for "Youth" page. This request is for those of you who take pictures of our Youth and their families at those events and activities. If you have pictures of events or activities not already on the Youth page it would be a great idea to let our visitors as well as our families see our Youth and their families in "action". The future of our Youth page depends on keeping it current. Please do not deprive our youth and their families of letting others see their "shine". Please email me the pictures or give me disc with the pictures of activities & events. Just see me for my email address or you can find my email address on the "Elders, Deacons & Minister" page. Thank you, Patrick Smith.
***********************************
Reminder: When you change your address, phone number, cell phone number, email address, etc., please notify me - Pat Smith - as it is crucial that we keep our database as current as possible. You can put a note in my mailbox or give it to me or you can email me. Click
